Cameron Library & Triffo Hall

A University of Alberta ONEcard is required for entry into the space, although guests are permitted as long as they’re accompanied by a card-holder.

Buddy up!!

Dewey’s is available for parties, special events, and casual get-togethers, so give us a shout a bit in advance and we’ll be sure to make your visit one to remember. The space is available for free to student groups to host get-togethers. Private bookings are also available.

NPP North Entrance

Dewey’s has been around for a long while, and has taken many forms! From living in HUB prior to the late ‘90s (we used to have a deli counter… wow!), to our new home in the UAlberta’s North Power Plant building, there’s history being made here every single day.

Are you going to be part of our future? Because we certainly hope so.

Dewey’s is owned and operated by your University of Alberta Students’ Union (UASU), and as such is for students by students. Profits generated from this business go back into funding student-oriented supports, programming, and events right here on campus. Pretty sweet deal huh? Drink beer AND support students! There’s Good, There’s Better…
And then there’s Best Bar None.

Best Bar None is a program administered by Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis, which recognizes a select group of licensed establishments that go above and beyond to achieve the highest levels of safety and quality.

Best Bar None establishments like Dewey’s adhere to a more rigorous set of standards and assessments than is normally required, so a BBN designation assures patrons — and the community at large — of the UASU’s commitment to safety, and to building positive relationships with all stakeholders.
